Renting Bicycles in Tokyo is Fun!

If it's a nice day, there is no better way to get around Tokyo than by renting a bicycle! In Tokyo its usual to ride on the sidewalks, so its safe and you don't have to worry about traffic! Being on a bike means you are mobile and independent!

You can easily ride to the best places in Tokyo!

Tokyo seems a lot smaller when you are on a bike: most of the shopping and sight-seeing areas are in a fairly compact area, and its only 5-8 minutes between stations on a bike. We'll give you an easy-to-follow map and suggest a route if you know what places you want to go to - so you don't have to worry about getting lost!

¥1000 for ALL DAY rental - 6 gear city-bikes!

Pick up bikes in the morning between 10:00am and 1:00pm, and return anytime by evening (8pm). Please bring a photo ID (passport/drivers licence - we will record the name and number, but you keep it.) Payment is in cash only.

List of Bicycles available:

20 City-bikes perfect for riding around Tokyo streets. Riders should be 14 y/o and over, and taller than 145cm.

2 Bicycles with a rear baby-seat (for kids 2-5 years).

2 Child's Bicycle for ages 6-10 years old.

1 Mountainbike for a child aged 9-12 years old.

1 Folding Bike for a young adult (9-12 y/o), or adult.

Children must be accompanied by an adult. Helmets are available for an extra 300 yen. For more than one day, the fee is 700 yen ever other day (but you must have bicycle parking at your hotel/apartment). Renters must sign application form, taking responsibility for any possible accidents, and/or damage to the bike.

Each has a comfortable seat and with the front basket you can put your bags or anything you want to carry along with you - its a lot better than having a backpack on your back all day! Also every rental bicycle has its own lock, so you can stop and lock the bikes in shopping areas, and take a walk around or go for lunch or a snack without worrying about it.

See the BEST parts of Tokyo - Shibuya, Harajuku/Takeshita-dori street, Yoyogi Park, Meiji-Jingu shrine, a Batting Center, Aoyama Cemetary, Roppongi, and Tokyo Tower. The 5+ hour tour also goes to the Diet (Parliament Building) and the Imperial Palace.

The ride involves a few hills, so riders should be in decent shape, but its a nice ride. You only need to wear sporty clothes, and bring along some money for buying snacks (there is a short food break in Yoyogi park), and to buy drinks along the way.

Make reservations by email at least one day in advance. Minimum 2 people, Max 8 people.

Tours for groups (2 or more people) starting at other times/days can be organized! Discounts available for school groups.
